“ Hillgrove tap is a local hot spot I feel. The inside Has a pretty cool bar area if you like hanging out by the bar. The staff is always nice they seem like they enjoy it. Sometimes a little slow, but thier attitude makes up for it. The food is good, but sometimes can be inconsisten. I've ordered the same thing a few time and every time it's a little different. it's never bad, it's just not The same as the last time. Over all it's a good place to go for a drink and some food. ”

Plenty seating options inside from high tops, low tables, and other rooms options. Beer choices were plentiful and great. My burger was cooked perfectly and so were my sweet potato fries. Waiter was kind and it wasn't too crowded during my visit but nice menu options. ”

“ From the moment Leo, our 5 star server, told us the March Beer of the Month (Smithwick's) was running low but we could get Hailstorm's Southside Irish Red for the same $5 price, I knew we'd be enjoying ourselves! The hot pretzel with melted cheese and stoneground mustard brought my Mrs Claus and I contented smiles and hopes for her Rueben and my Beercheese Burger, which were both truly delicious! Indeed, our only problem: no room for any dessert! But I suspect the Creme Brulee with raspberry sauce will soon find us. Until then, c'mon by...you will not be disappointed! “ Nice neighborhood spot to sit and relax and grab something to eat. They have a nice beer and drink selection and some daily specials. We started with the nachos which were so good! The portion was huge and they came out hot with lots of toppings. Love that they use real cheese rather than cheese sauce. We added the bbq pork which tasted good on its own but we did not care for it on the nachos as the flavors did not mesh. I had the chicken avocado sandwich which was not very good but the sweet potato fries were great- hot and crispy! My friend had the grilled cheese and loved it. Great service as well! ”
